nic.at is the Austrian registry for all .at, .co.at and .or.at domains. The owner of nic.at is the non-profit Internet Foundation Austria (IPA) whose purpose is the promotion of the Internet in Austria. nic.at regards itself as a competence center of expertise as well as a contact for questions about domains and the Austrian Internet and regularly publishes news around the domain world. Since 2010 nic.at has been offering in-house developments like the registry system “tldbox” and the Anycast-Domain Name Service “RcodeZero DNS” via sister companies to external customers and gives advice to applicants for new Top Level Domains.
